Hi, I’m Darcy and I love helping nonprofits save time and money so they can do some good in the world.
I’ve been a volunteer my whole life with a wide variety of organizations. From 4-H to college food drives to running youth athletic leagues, I respect what nonprofits bring to their communities and love being a part of it.
When my children were very young, I realized I had a natural talent for organizing and productivity. This was, and remains, immensely amusing to my family who can only recall my messy room but I found I could connect with people who were frustrated with disorganization in their home or office and come up with creative solutions to fix the problems. It was rewarding work and I was inspired by people who asked for help and from the knowledge that I had helped people physically, emotionally, and mentally after these sessions.
A few years ago, I was asked to fill in at a nonprofit for an office volunteer who was experiencing some health issues. The new Executive Director had plans to revamp some tools and systems in place and asked me to help. In just a few months we overhauled the entire organization and knocked nearly 12 hours out of the weekly office tasks while creating systems and implementing tools that would not only maintain the existing work but allow for growth and continued efficiency.
That’s when the light bulb went off: I could bring my organization and productivity skills to the world of nonprofits! I’m grateful to be a part of so many organizations that are doing good in the world and to use my expertise to help those nonprofits expand and grow because their operations are efficient. I love what I do and can’t wait to work with you to make your organization thrive!
